"Picea" was a chewy bread savoured by Roman soldiers. "Piza" dates around the year 1000 A.D. and was also a bread based snack. Rocky's Pizza evolved from the many pizzerias scattered throughout Italy, whose pizzas showed up in every shape and form in the United States after World War 2. With a history like that, it was only a matter of time before great pizza showed up in Singapore as Rocky's Pizza.
